New York-based Wedding Dress Designer Marina Semone has always loved hiking the mountains of New Hampshire, and her dresses reflect this sense of wonder and adventure. The clean, minimal silhouettes, hand embroidery, and the soft wispy layers of tulle-on-lace mimic the mountains of New Hampshire, where as a child she would take hikes with her mother, her main inspiration for this collection.

“My mother always instilled in me a sense of adventure and a love for exploration. With this collection I explored a lot of textures and layers, so it brought me back to childhood memories of running and rolling through open fields and feeling the best kind of joy. So I imagined a bride who is empowered as a self-accomplished woman in the city, works hard on her business or day job, a lover of natural light and all things organic and elopes to the countryside with the love of her life, empowered to show her feminine and sexy side, and making a beautiful life together with all that nature around them has to offer. Slow living at its best.”

So when Event Stylist Olha Barabash of Sense of Moment New York put together this ethereally chic bridal session, we were all definitely daydreaming in the same way. Olha is a lover of neutrals and textures, and brought a curated collection of vintage wooden candlesticks she found while travelling in Upstate New York.

Stationery and Calligraphy by Brooklyn-based Inkpush Co. captured this romantic love story with Wedding Invitation Suite and Tabletop Stationery pieces featuring all-handmade paper, organic heirloom calligraphy, a custom hand illustration, all adorned with romantic vintage stamps and antique wax seals. Sweet Talk Floral designed an effortless bridal bouquet reminiscent of wildflowers growing in the mountain side, and added cappuccino roses for that romantic, ethereal feel.

Hand-dyed textured linens by Brooklyn-based The Bayith provided the perfect organic backdrop for the tabletops, and party rentals by New York-based Broadway Party Rentals certainly brought to life the chic city girl vibe with their acrylic chairs, minimalist plates and chic, modern tableware.

Cake by Me Bakes NYC created a minimalist touch of romance with layers and layers of buttercream vanilla icing adorned with lose cappuccino roses and wildflowers. Soft romantic natural hair and make up by Natalia Beauty and Reflection Hair Design was a perfect reflection of the city girl in all of us who loves romance and dreams about trading city life for the countryside.

Photographer Tanya Isaeva captured the essence of this beautiful love story, and got us all daydreaming of eloping to the countryside with the love our life, letting our hair down, running through the open fields, free and empowered to love.
